Torch Lake Public Action Council

The next meeting is June 16, 2020 at 12 p.m. at the Franklin Township offices, pending any further extension of Gov. Whitmer’s Stay Home, Stay Safe executive order.

Our meetings are open to the public and we encourage members of the public and the media to attend.

The Torch Lake Public Action Council (TLPAC) was founded in 1997 to serve as community representation to the Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, & Energy (EGLE) during the remediation, reclamation, and restoration of the Torch Lake Area of Concern in Houghton County.
