Torch Lake Public Action Council

Meetings are held at 12 p.m. the third Tuesday of every month at the Franklin Township offices. Our meetings are open to the public and we encourage members of the public and the media to attend.

The Torch Lake Public Action Council (TLPAC) was founded in 1997 to serve as community representation to the Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, & Energy (EGLE) during the remediation, reclamation, and restoration of the Torch Lake Area of Concern in Houghton County.
