Michigan’s Area of Concern Public Action Councils (PACs) were established to ensure the Office of the Great Lakes would hear from stakeholders of diverse backgrounds before, during, and after AOC remediation and restoration actions. The PAC serves to provide advisory information to OGL, but the PAC relies on the public to voice opinions on cleanup actions and preferred outcomes.
Ways to get involved:
- Attend PAC meetings (third Tuesday of every month)
- Write letters to the editor
- Attend OGL or EPA informational events
